 Project Participants Minimize

The project will be coordinated by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. The other partnership Universities are the University of Pavia, the University of Oldenburg, the University of Cyprus, the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. All partners are very interested in teacher education and in teacher training through distance learning and ICT technologies. Also, all the above institutions provide initial and in-service training for teachers.

Participating institution No 2: University of Pavia
The Physics Department's History and Didactics Group of the Pavia University began, in the late seventies, to research aspects of knowledge of the History of Science and scientific education, and to underline the role the former could play in the latter. Founded in 1983, the research group on Physics Education, History and Philosophy of Science is part of the Institute of Physics at the Carl-von-Ossietzky University Oldenburg. We aim to analyse the historical development of physics (mainly in the 18th and 19th century).
